Our Audiologists

Jolene Emmer, Au.D. CCC-A, FAAA

ABOUT ME:  
As an audiologist with Kaiser Permanente, my concentration has been on hearing aids and aural rehabilitation.  I mostly work with adults and geriatrics, however I recently began branching out into pediatrics as well.  I love the diversity and challenge of working with all age groups.  Previously, I have provided vestibular evaluations as well. 

 

I am originally from Fond du Lac, WI and received my bachelor’s degree in Communicative Disorders from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point.  From there I moved to Akron, OH and received my Doctor of Audiology degree from Kent State University.  Finally, I came to Colorado for an externship with the University of Colorado Hospital. 

 

When I’m not at work I enjoy spending time with my husband, our 2 dogs (Breck and Zep) and our cat (Ruffy).  I love taking trips to the mountains, hiking and camping.  I also enjoy live music concerts, DIY projects, and playing recreational sports.
